Sebastiano Vacirca boasts over 25 years of experience in Information Technology, specializing in analytics and database management. Currently serving as an Analytics Development Manager and Senior Database Specialist at Aptos Retail since June 1994, Sebastiano has developed expertise in Amazon Redshift, Oracle, Big Query, and Microsoft SQL Server, alongside experience with Sybase and MySQL. In addition, Sebastiano has been an IT Professor at Dawson College since September 2013, teaching Oracle and SQL Server courses at various skill levels. Previous roles include Senior Database Specialist at Epicor Retail and Sybase DBA at Compuware Corporation of Canada. Sebastiano holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Concordia University and a Commerce degree from Vanier College.
