Tiago Vieira has been working in the tech industry since 2022, when they began as a Junior Back-end Developer and Summer Intern for Aptoide. Prior to that, they worked for Associação Naval de Lisboa (ANL) from 2020 as a Sailing Coach - Competition, where they coached a junior team to first and second in the regional ranking in the first season, and also coached in a Youth Worlds Championship and several national Regattas. Tiago also worked as a Sailing Coach - Begginers for ANL. From 2015 to 2020, Tiago worked for Clube de Vela do Tejo as a Sailing Coach and Sailor, where they started competing in the Optimist class and later won the Portuguese National Championship in the Laser class and took part in several international championships from Junior to Senior.

Tiago Vieira obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the NOVA School of Science and Technology in the years 2019 to 2022. Tiago then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same institution, which they are expected to complete in 2024. In addition, Tiago Vieira holds two sailing coach certifications from the Federação Portuguesa de Vela, Sailing Coach Level 1 obtained in September 2021, and Sailing Coach Level 2 obtained in October 2022.
