Katey Foster, Ph.D. has a wide range of experience in the field of industrial-organizational psychology. Katey began their career as an Independent Contractor at Barrett & Associates in 2006, and also worked as a Consultant at the Center for Organizational Research during the same time period. In 2007, they became a Graduate Assistant at The University of Akron, where they worked until 2011. During this time, they also served as an Industrial-Organizational Psychology Consultant at The Timken Company from 2009 to 2011. Since 2011, Katey has been with APTMetrics, where they initially worked as a Director of Solutions Delivery before being promoted to Vice President of Solution Delivery - Litigation. In their role at APTMetrics, they have provided consulting services to Fortune® 100 clients across various industries, as well as government agencies, in areas such as assessment development, job analysis, and competency modeling. Katey has also supported expert witness and consulting work in employment discrimination cases.
Katey Foster, Ph.D. obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Ohio University in 2006. Katey then pursued their Master of Arts degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at The University of Akron from 2006 to 2008. Katey Foster completed their educational journey at The University of Akron, earning their Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from 2008 to 2013.
