Brandon Wetzel has a diverse work experience spanning various fields. Brandon started their career as a Courtesy Clerk at Albertsons Companies in 2011 and worked there until 2012. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as a K-6 Teacher Assistant at Lakeview Preschool and Daycare, where they managed daily activities for over 60 children and exceeded state standards. In 2016, they joined the University of Idaho as a Laboratory Technician I until 2018. During this time, they gained experience in molecular research, including primer design, cell culture, cloning, and PCR protocols. In 2016, they also began working as a Laboratory Technician II at Washington State University and continued until 2019. In this role, they were a member of the Franceschi Microscopy & Imaging Center and conducted research in the laboratories of Dr. Michael Knoblauch and Dr. Shelley McGuire. Additionally, they worked as a Chemistry Teaching Assistant at Washington State University from 2017 to 2018, assisting students with chemistry principles and preparing them for exams. In 2018, they joined Aptive Environmental as a Senior Sales Manager, where they achieved success as the top rookie representative, generating significant revenue and selling a large number of pest accounts. Brandon also demonstrated strong leadership skills by co-leading team meetings and training other representatives.

Brandon Wetzel completed their Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology (Pre-Medicine) with a minor in Psychology at Washington State University from 2014 to 2018. Brandon also obtained Food Handler Cards from the Washington State Department of Health in January 2019. Additionally, Brandon received certifications in AED, CPR, and First Aid from the Red Cross at Washington State University.
