David Fernández is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in systems architecture and software development, primarily within the automotive industry. Since May 2017, David has served as Engineering Team Manager at Aptiv, leading a team of Systems Architects and Engineers in designing vehicle functions and improving engineering methodologies. Previous roles at Aptiv include Technical Manager for Advanced Systems, where responsibilities encompassed systems specification and safety analysis for Advanced Driver Assistance and Autonomous Driving systems. David's career began with various positions related to software development and research, including work at Krohne Innovation GmbH and the University of Granada. David holds a Master's degree in Networks and Computers Engineering and a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Granada, supplemented by an Erasmus exchange at LUT University in Computer Science.
