Madis Abel has an extensive work experience in software development and engineering. Madis currently holds the position of Lead Software Engineer at Apromore since September 2022. Prior to that, Madis was a Member at Estonian Business Angels Network (EstBAN) starting from September 2021. In 2011, they founded MABEL Oü and developed the QBP Simulator. Madis also worked at Twilio Inc. as a Technical Lead from September 2019 to October 2021 and as a Senior Software Engineer from April 2017 to September 2019. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Microsoft from November 2011 to March 2017, and as a Software Developer at Raintree Systems, Inc. from August 2006 to November 2011.

Madis Abel began their education in 2005 at the University of Tartu, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Madis successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2008. Building on their academic foundation, Madis continued their education at the same institution and enrolled in the Master of Science program in Enterprise Software Engineering in 2009. Madis successfully completed this program in 2011.
