Careen Lowry is an experienced nursing professional currently serving as Admissions RN at Apreva Hospice since January 2022. Previously, Careen worked as a Covid-19 ICU RN with Krucial Staffing from April 2020 to July 2022. A significant portion of Careen's career was spent at Naval Medical Center San Diego from August 2008 to May 2020, where roles included PICU RN, Moderate Sedation RN, PICC RN, Ultrasound Vascular Access RN, and Peds Clinic RN. Careen began the nursing career at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego as a Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse from August 2004 to October 2007. Education includes a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Clinical Nurse Leader from Loyola University New Orleans (2019-2022) and an Associate of Science in Nursing from Grossmont College (2000-2004).
