Steven Nguyen has worked in the technology industry since 2009. Steven began their career as a Computer Technician and Customer Service Representative at the Student Technology Center. In 2011, they joined Novacoast as a Developer Intern, later becoming a Developer and Senior Developer. In 2022, they began working as a Software Engineer at Appwrite.

Steven Nguyen attended Lawndale High School from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Steven then went on to the University of California, Los Angeles from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Prior to that, Steven attended Will Rogers Middle School. Additionally, Steven has obtained four certifications from Symantec: Symantec Managed Security Services and DeepSight Early Warning Services STS (2015), Symantec Managed Security Services SSE (2014), Symantec Managed Security Services and DeepSight SSE+ (2014), and Symantec Workflow SSE (2014).
