Mike Nelson has over three decades of experience in engineering and management within the paper industry. Currently serving as the Plant Engineering, Maintenance, and Utilities Manager at Appvion, Inc. since May 2011, Mike has demonstrated expertise in overseeing various engineering functions. Prior to this role, Mike held the position of Engineering Superintendent at the same company and previously worked as the Process Control Engineering Group Leader at Appleton Papers Inc. from June 1987 to May 2011. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, graduating in 1986.
