Riki Dolby has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.
Starting in 1995, Dolby began their career at Nortel Networks as a Graduate Hardware Engineer and later worked as a Firmware Engineer. They then advanced to become a Senior Systems Integration Prime, playing a key role in the integration of a multi-site development project. Dolby also served as a Systems Design and Integration Manager, where they led a team of seven employees and provided troubleshooting support for customer sites and product testing. Additionally, they worked as a Manager of System Design and Architecture, responsible for introducing new DSP technology and managing the development interface.
Moving to Anritsu in 2002, Dolby took on the position of Systems Team Manager. They established and led the systems team, implementing process changes necessary for success. This team was involved in various aspects of development, including requirements analysis, software architecture, integration, and 2nd line engineering support.
In 2005, Dolby joined Cobham - MMI Research Products as a Systems Engineer and later became the Director of Systems Engineering. They contributed to the development cycle and were responsible for managing the systems engineering department.
From 1997 to 2013, Dolby served as a Director at Network Eidetics (UK) Ltd, a consultancy offering business process analysis, data management, data-mining tools and services, and custom application development. Their clientele included major aerospace manufacturers and distributors.
Continuing their career, Dolby joined Quortus in 2010 as a Product Manager. They then advanced to the role of Director of Engineering and ultimately took on the position of CTO.
From 2018 to 2023, Dolby worked at InfoSum, starting as an Engineering Director and progressing to VP of Engineering and SVP Engineering. They concluded their tenure at InfoSum as a Consultant.
Most recently, Dolby co-founded ApprovalDeck in 2023, where they hold the position of Co-Founder & CTO.
Riki Dolby pursued their education at the University of Cambridge, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences/Electrical and Information Sciences in 1994. Following this, they went on to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science at the same university in 1995.
