Liz Long is an experienced art educator currently serving as an Art Teacher at Appoquinimink School District and as President of the Delaware Art Education Association since July 2023. Previously, Liz held the position of Visual Arts Teacher at Capital School District from August 2017 to July 2023, where responsibilities included teaching K-4 art, serving as a Social Media Coordinator, and acting as a Del State Student Mentor. Additional experience includes working as an Independent Contractor for the Delaware Department of Education and various teaching roles at multiple educational institutions. Liz holds a Master's degree in Art Education with an Emphasis in Special Populations and a BFA in 3D Fine Arts, as well as a Minor in Fashion, both from Moore College of Art and Design.
