David Del Grande has extensive experience in finance and accounting, currently serving as Director of Finance for the City of Newark, Delaware, since May 2016, while also holding positions as Alternate Director and Finance Committee Member for the Delaware Municipal Electric Corporation, Inc. David is a member of the Financial Advisory Committee for the Appoquinimink School District, providing oversight and advisement on fiscal matters since May 2013. Additionally, David has been the Treasurer for Augustine Creek Maintenance Corporation since October 2011 and contributed to the New Castle County Finance Transition Team in early 2017. Previous roles include Accounting and Fiscal Manager and Senior Financial Officer for New Castle County, as well as a Regional Accountant/Budget Officer for the US Forest Service. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Widener University and a high school diploma from Salesianum High School.
