Javier Balaguer Zafra has extensive experience in the field of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), currently serving as UAS Department Manager at Applus+ Laboratories since March 2022, after holding roles as UAS Technical Manager and UAS Project Engineer within the same company. Prior experience includes positions as a UAV Engineer and hardware/software developer at Hemav Foundation, and a UAV engineer intern at HEMAV S.L. Early career experience includes a sales attendant role at Decathlon España and an internship as an Aerospace Materials Lab Test Technician at Applus+ Laboratories. Javier holds a Master's degree in Applications and Technologies for Unmanned Aircraft Systems from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, along with two Engineer's degrees in aerospace engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
