Joshua Cedeño has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2003 as an Assistant Manager at Brooks Eckerd Pharmacy. Joshua then moved onto Technician III and Junior Administrator at Colorado State University-Pueblo, where they exceeded expectations, improved customer satisfaction and increased their personal workload over their four year span. In 2006, they were a USPS Help Desk Technician at Sitel, and in 2007 a Tier 2 Tech Support Agent For Motorola at Innotrac. In 2008, they became a Geek Squad Senior/Supervisor at Geek Squad, where they managed and trained a diverse team of agents and provided professional IT consulting and training. In 2009, they were a Network Engineer and IT Support Engineer at Vestas, where they worked in a dynamic and fast paced environment building and supporting a global network. In 2012, they became a Network Engineer/Client IT Manager at Total Technology Solutions, where they worked in a fast paced environment building and supporting various networks for several different clients. Finally, in 2015, they became Director, Digital Infrastructure/CISO and Sr. SysAdmin/IT Manager/Security Officer at Applied Visions, Inc., where they shifted the IT Security Program to better align with NIST special publications, created a Vulnerability Management Program, implemented multi-factor authentication for privileged accounts, enhanced Business Continuity, designed and implemented a new IP schema, increased Overall Security Governance, standardized perimeter defenses, re-engineered Development and Production environments, and negotiated and migrated between VoIP providers.

Joshua Cedeño's education history includes attending Glen Cove High School from 2000 to 2004 and Colorado State University Pueblo from 2004 to 2008. Joshua also holds multiple certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (2021), Certified In Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) (2020), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (2018), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) (2014), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) (2019), CCENT (2011), CCNA (2012), Network+ (no date) and Security+ (no date).
