Lexi Mertens is a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant at Applied Underwriters since March 2022. Previously, Lexi served as an Audit Senior Associate at BKD CPAs & Advisors from July 2021 to March 2022 and held the position of Audit Senior at BerganKDV from September 2018 to April 2021, where Lexi also worked as an Associate Accountant. Earlier experience includes serving as an Internal Auditor Intern at Northwest Foundation in March to April 2018, focusing on the internal audit of fully endowed funds. Lexi Mertens earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Finance and Public Accounting from Northwest Missouri State University in 2018.
