Matthew Ellis has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Matthew is currently working as a Senior Build Reliability Engineer at SpaceX, where they are responsible for establishing quality assurance and reliability programs for various operations. Prior to this, Matthew served as the CEO and Master Brewer at Waffle-Sauce Meadery and also as the CEO and Principal Consultant at Waffle-Sauce Science & Engineering LLC, where they provided scientific and technical advising services to different organizations.

Matthew has also worked as the Director of Applied Engineering at Applied Physics and as a Senior Quality Engineer at Lockheed Martin. In these roles, they focused on maintaining and improving production performance through statistical analysis and project management.

Before their transition to the engineering field, Matthew worked as a Materials Scientist at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory and as a Materials Chemist at Florida State University. From 2016 to 2020, Matthew pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Materials Chemistry from Florida State University.

Simultaneously, between 2016 and 2019, they also obtained a Master of Science - MS degree in Materials Chemistry from the same university.
