Kelly Chalmers began their career in 1999 as an Industrial Engineer at EDS Group. In 2001, they moved to Applied Manufacturing Technologies, where they held various roles including Senior Program Manager, Engineering Group Manager, Leader of Processing and Simulation, Senior Engineer, and Process Engineer.

Kelly Chalmers received a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Kettering University in 2014 and a B.S.E. in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan between 1994 and 1998.
