Yousuf Abbas

Engineering at Applied Intuition

Yousuf Abbas has a diverse work experience with various companies. Yousuf started their career as a Product Management Program intern at ExactTarget in 2016. Yousuf then gained further experience as an Operations Engineering Intern at AM General LLC in 2017. In 2018, Yousuf worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Purdue University Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Yousuf continued to expand their skills as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Kimley-Horn in 2019. Yousuf joined General Motors in 2020 as a Rotational Product Development Engineer in their TRACK Program. Yousuf later took on the role of Software Integration Engineer for Ultra Cruise, where they developed and integrated localization software. In 2023, Yousuf became a Pro Bono Consultant for the Johns Hopkins Graduate Consulting Club, advising a medical device company on strategies for clinical trial enrollment. Yousuf currently works at Applied Intuition as an Engineering professional.

Yousuf Abbas completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University in 2019. Yousuf then pursued further education at The Johns Hopkins University, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management (Electrical and Computer Engineering Track) between 2021 and 2023.

In addition to their academic achievements, Yousuf holds various certifications. Yousuf obtained a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (ICBB) from General Motors in July 2022, and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) from the same institution in August 2021. Yousuf also holds certifications in Human Subject Research - Biomedical Research and as a Researcher, both obtained from the CITI Program in March 2023.
