Samantha Kim has a diverse work experience in various companies and organizations. Samantha is currently employed at Applied Intuition since 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at Stanford University's IRIS Lab from September 2020 to June 2021. Before that, they were a Flight Software Intern at SpaceX from June 2020 to September 2020, where they streamlined and automated processes, developed flight software, and conducted testing. Samantha also has experience with the Stanford Solar Car Project, where they worked in different roles, including Race Crew - Chase Radio, Embedded Code Team, Strategy Team, Mechanical Team, and Aerodynamics Team, from September 2017 to October 2019. Additionally, they worked at Stanford University as a CS 106 Section Leader from September 2018 to March 2019, teaching and grading coding assignments, and as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Stanford Intelligent Systems Laboratory from April 2018 to September 2018. Samantha also gained experience as a Summer Research Intern at The University of Edinburgh, where they wrote Python scripts and collected datasets for robotics research in intuitive physics from June 2018 to July 2018.

Samantha Kim completed their education from 2017 to 2021, earning a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Stanford University. Before attending university, they attended the Academy of the Holy Angels from 2013 to 2017, where they achieved the position of Valedictorian. Additionally, Samantha has obtained certifications such as Open Water Diver from PADI in January 2019, and they also hold a CPR certification from American CPR Training. Furthermore, Samantha has a certification in Wilderness First Aid, although the institution and the specific date of obtaining this certification are unknown.
