Néstor Subirón-Montoro's work experience includes their current role as an Engineering member at Applied Intuition, where they work on sensor simulation for autonomous vehicles. Prior to this, they served as a Software Engineer at Argo AI from 2020 to 2021. Before that, they worked at Autonomous Intelligent Driving GmbH as a Tech Lead for Environment Simulation and as a Simulation Software Engineer from 2019 to 2020. Néstor also has experience as a Principal Engineer at CARLA Simulator, a top open-source simulation platform for autonomous driving research, from 2016 to 2019. Néstor's first professional role was as a Software Developer (C++) at Schut Geometrische Meettechniek BV from 2010 to 2015.

Néstor Subirón-Montoro completed their education with a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Physics from the University of Groningen from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Licenciatura in Physics from the University of Valencia, where they studied from 2004 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Néstor Subirón-Montoro has also obtained two certifications. Néstor completed a course on Machine Learning from Stanford University on Coursera in December 2017 and another course on Algorithmic Toolbox from the University of California, San Diego & Higher School of Economics on Coursera in April 2016.
