Micah Yong has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of engineering and computer sciences. In 2019, Micah worked as a CS 61B (Data Structures) Tutor at UC Berkeley Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences (EECS). From 2019 to 2022, Micah served as a Software Engineer at Blueprint, Technology for Non-Profits, and also gained experience as a CS 186 (Databases) Teaching Assistant at UC Berkeley EECS. In 2020, Micah interned as a Software Engineer at both Amazon and Berkeley RISE Lab, where they focused on researching dataframes and distributed systems. Most recently, in 2022, Micah joined Applied Intuition as an Engineer.

Micah Yong has a strong education background in computer science and data science. They earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Science and another BA degree in Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley. Micah attended the university from 2018 to 2022. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2018, they completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Before the Diploma Programme, Micah studied General Studies at Granada Hills Charter High School from 2014 to 2018. In addition to their degrees, Micah obtained certifications in B.A. in Computer Science and B.A. in Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley, in May 2022.
