Kmeid Saad, PhD has a wealth of experience in the engineering and automotive industry. Kmeid began their career in 2012 with a summer internship at GEI-2A BARCELONA, SL. In 2013, they became a System Engineer at Continental, followed by a Cooperative PhD Student role at AVL in 2015. In the same year, they also took on a Research Associate position at Fachhochschule Kempten - Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft. In 2019, Kmeid joined Ansys as a Senior Manager Application Engineering, where they were responsible for leading the Autonomous Solutions team in EMEA. Kmeid also held the roles of Senior Principal Application Engineer and Lead Solution Engineer - Sensors and Photonics. In 2022, Kmeid moved to Applied Intuition as an Engineering.

Kmeid Saad, PhD has an extensive educational background. Kmeid obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Universitatea Politehnica din Timișoara in 2009-2013. Kmeid then went on to receive their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Quality Control and Safety Technologies/Technicians from the same university in 2013-2015. Finally, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Modeling, Virtual Environments and Simulation from Technische Universität Graz in 2016-2019. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from the Scrum Alliance in 2021, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance, Inc. in 2020, Modular Production Systems - FESTO, and Quality Management Systems Internal auditor according to ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 19011:2011.
