Kaustub Ragunathan has a wide range of work experience. Kaustub began their career in 2011 as an intern at Bosch India. In 2012, they worked as a Bachelor thesis student at BEML LIMITED. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Science. Kaustub then joined IPG Automotive GmbH in 2014 as an Intern, followed by a role as an Application Engineer from 2016 to 2019. In 2022, they began working as an Engineering at Applied Intuition.

Kaustub Ragunathan received their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from Ramaiah Institute Of Technology between 2008 and 2012. Kaustub then went on to receive their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Automotive Engineering from RWTH Aachen University between 2013 and 2016.
