Jacob Tie-Shue has a diverse work experience beginning in 2018 as a Server/Cashier at sushi maki. Jacob then went on to work as a Research Assistant at Stanford University School of Engineering in 2019. Later that year, they also worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Amber Engine, where they built a React/Redux front-end for a product information management software solution for furniture retailers and worked remotely as a full-stack developer on a self-service portal for users. In 2020 and 2021, Jacob worked as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Amazon. In 2019 and 2022, they worked as a CS106 Section Leader (TA) and CS155 Course Assistant, respectively, at Stanford University. Most recently, Jacob will be joining Applied Intuition as an Incoming Software Engineer in 2023.
Jacob Tie-Shue completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, with a minor in Mathematics, from Stanford University. Jacob pursued this degree from 2018 until 2022. Following their undergraduate studies, Jacob went on to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science at Stanford University from 2021 to 2023.
