Erik Rosén has held various positions in the engineering and IT-consulting fields since 2006. In 2008, they completed 15 months of military service as Command Systems Platoon Commander on board Signals intelligence vessel HMS Orion, where they were employed for 4 months as Sergeant. From 2011 to 2013, they held positions at Ericsson as a System Designer and Verification Engineer and at the University of Cambridge as an Integrated Design Project Manager. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Summer Intern at Siemens Magnet Technology, where they developed a graphical user interface, assisted in the design of an experiment, and conducted a study into the magnetic field strengths experienced by technicians. Since 2014, they have been a Deployment Strategist at Palantir Technologies, where they have project managed and implemented products for a wide range of clients. In 2022, they will begin working as an Engineering at Applied Intuition.

Erik Rosén has a diverse education history. Erik obtained their MEng degree in Engineering from the University of Cambridge between 2010 and 2014. In 2020, they completed a Self Driving Car Engineer Nanodegree from Udacity. Erik also attended Kungsholmens Gymnasium between 2005 and 2008 where they studied Natural Sciences. Additionally, they obtained a Machine Learning certification from Coursera in January 2020.
