Julie Cooper is an experienced professional in the field of chemical engineering and process development, currently serving as SHE Manager at Universal Matter GBR Ltd since January 2018. Previous roles include QC and SHE Manager and Process Development responsibilities, encompassing project management, experimental program design, and analytical method development. Prior experience includes working as a Process Development Chemist at Davy Process Technology, where significant contributions were made to the commercialization of a novel chemical route, and as an Experimental Scientist at INVISTA focused on R&D for nylon intermediates. Julie holds a BSc in Chemistry from Durham University, an MSc from the University of Essex, and a PhD from the University of Surrey, specializing in catalysis for fine chemicals applications.
