Cat M is an Analyst at Applico, Board Observer at Feathr, and Investor at Nearpod and Anuvia Plant Nutrients.

Cat has a long history of working with startups, beginning with their investment in Zentila in 2013. Cat joined the board of Thrive Frozen Nutrition in 2012 and Fattmerchant in 2015. In 2016, they became a Board Observer at Feathr, a cloud marketing platform built specifically for the needs of event professionals. Feathr’s software allows event organizers to easily connect with their attendees and exhibitors through behavioral marketing. The Company’s software currently powers more than 200 events in the USA, UK, France, Germany, Australia, and other countries.

In addition to their work with startups, Cat is also an active investor. In 2014, they invested in Anuvia Plant Nutrients. Anuvia is a sustainable plant nutrient company that develops products to improve plant health and increase crop yields while reducing environmental impact. In 2015, they invested in Nearpod, an edtech platform offering K-12 teachers interactive slides with videos, quizzes, questions, and other classroom activities. Nearpod is used in all 50 states.

Cat M has a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Florida International University and a Master of Business Administration from University of Central Florida with a 3.81 / 4.00 GPA.

They are on a team with Melissa Geiss - Talent Manager, Sam K - Business Designer, and A.J. Luzarraga - Associate. Cat M reports to Kevin Riebe, Head of Strategy.
