Stephan Hesse is a Senior Software Engineer at Apple, focusing on TV and Music integration on 3rd-party platforms since June 2024. Prior to this, Stephan served as Tech Lead and Senior Software Engineer at nanocosmos, contributing to an ultra-low-latency video delivery network platform from November 2022 to April 2024. As the founder and Associate Engineering Consultant at EMLiRI, an open-source innovation lab, Stephan has maintained a portfolio of projects related to multimedia technology. Previous roles include Research and Development Engineer at Haivision with a focus on SRT protocol for low-latency live signal distribution, Innovation Consultant at Livery Video, and various consulting positions supporting media streaming technologies. Stephan holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications from EPFL and has a Vordiplom from ETH Zürich.
