Nirmal Kumar is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in network protocols and security mechanisms. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Apple since September 2015, Nirmal has previously held key positions at Juniper Networks and Cisco Systems, specializing in FCoE Initialization Protocol (FIP) snooping, DCBX protocol development, and enhancements to RADIUS/TACACS+ systems. Nirmal's career began at Wipro Technologies, focusing on FCIP router design and development. Nirmal holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Anna University Chennai.
