Somesh G has a diverse work experience in software testing and engineering. Somesh started their career at Vision It Solutions Private Limited, where they worked as a Software Tester. During their time there, they tested multiple applications for clients such as Ethames Graduate School, Royal Bank of Scotland, and MetLife Insurance. Somesh also utilized the QTP tool for regression testing of financial applications.

Somesh then joined Atchik as a Senior Software Tester, where they were involved in preparing test strategies, plans, and end-of-test reports for mobile messaging solutions. After that, they worked at Webtransform Technologies Pvt. Ltd as a Software Test Engineer, handling test planning, test case preparation, and test execution for various projects. Somesh was also the offshore point of contact for testing two applications, eClerx services, and ticketsStaion.

Somesh's next role was at Applause, where they started as a Dedicated Software Tester. Somesh gained expertise in crowd-sourcing testing and tested over 1000 Windows, Web, and Mobile applications on different platforms. Somesh also had gold-rated and expertise in crowd test knowledge on industries like Retail, CRM, Banking, Entertainment, and Gambling.

At Applause, Somesh was promoted to Senior Software Test Engineer. In this role, they worked on internal testing workspace releases and Applause Codeless Automation. Somesh was responsible for setting test cycles with customer requirements, planning and writing test cases, managing the test team, triaging defect reports, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Somesh G has a diverse educational background. Somesh completed a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University from 2004 to 2008. Somesh then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Mobile Communications from the University of East London from 2009 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Somesh also obtained a certification called ISEB from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in June 2010.

Later, in 2013 to 2014, they attended Hellerup Sprogcenter to study Danish Language and Literature, specifically obtaining a degree called Danske Prøve 3.
