Samantha Bremner has a diverse work experience beginning in 2015. Samantha started as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, working in the lab of Dr. Eric V. Shusta to develop a novel screening approach for the isolation, characterization, and engineering of antibodies targeting the blood-brain barrier. Samantha then worked as a Laboratory Assistant in the labs of Dr. Laura L. Kiessling and Dr. at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Biochemistry. In 2017, they became a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Washington. In 2019, they were appointed as a NSF Graduate Research Fellow at the National Science Foundation (NSF). Currently, they are a Scientist I at Appia Bio since 2022.

Samantha Bremner attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering. Samantha then continued their education at the University of Washington, where they are currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering, expected to be completed in 2022.
