Juan David Hurtado Gil is a Senior Software Engineer at Appgate since November 2021, specializing in Java 17 and Angular 12 while applying domain-driven design and event-driven architecture for scalable microservices. Prior experience includes a Senior Software Engineer role at Flypass Colombia from May 2016 to February 2022, where Juan David played a key role in implementing a microservices architecture with Spring Boot and optimized Oracle database performance. Before that, Juan David worked at Heinsohn Business Technology from September 2012 to April 2016, focusing on analysis, development, and migration of applications using J2EE and PL/SQL. Juan David holds a Master's degree in Technology Management from Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia and has specialized knowledge in Geographic Information Systems from Universidad de Manizales, along with an Engineering degree in Systems and Telecommunications from the same institution.
