Karo Obrutu has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. They began their career as an Enterprise Network Engineer at SWIFT NETWORKS LIMITED in 2015. In 2019, they joined Kavwin Nigeria Limited as an IT Specialist.

Later in 2019, Obrutu transitioned to Techpremier Media as a Product Manager, where they worked until 2021. During this time, they also held the role of Product Manager at Techpoint Africa from December 2019 to January 2021, where they actively participated in the development and maintenance of various digital offerings.

In 2021, Obrutu joined TAGDEV TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED as a Product Manager, where they worked until 2022. They then moved on to Appcast, Inc, where they currently hold the position of Product Manager.

Throughout their career, Obrutu has gained expertise in product management, technical leadership, website development, backend infrastructure, and event management. They have contributed to reaching significant milestones, including reaching over 500,000 monthly active users.

Karo Obrutu holds a Master's degree in Management Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University. They also have a Product Management Certificate from ProductDive. Prior to that, Karo obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Lagos. In addition to their academic qualifications, Karo has obtained a certification in Project Management in Entrepreneurship from the Project Management Institute in November 2020.
