Derek LeBlanc has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Derek started their career at Business Fredericton North Inc. in 2005, where they served as the Marketing Manager and Interim General Manager until 2007. Following this, they joined Wells Fargo Financial as a Credit Manager from 2007 to 2009. In 2010, they joined Skillsoft as a Senior Account Executive and remained in this role until 2017. Most recently, Derek has been working at Appcast, Inc. In their tenure at Appcast, they held various roles, including Senior Account Executive- Channel Sales, where they managed and grew a $2M book of business in 2018. Derek was recognized as the Agency AE of The Year in both 2018 and 2019. In 2019, they developed and grew a $4M book of business, including a $1.4M strategic account. In October 2019, they were promoted to Team Leader- Global Sales. In March 2021, they transitioned to the role of Director of Global Sales at Appcast, Inc.

Derek LeBlanc attended the University of New Brunswick from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Marketing. In April 2017, they also obtained a certification as a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute.
