Sam Shi is a graduate student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, following a Bachelor’s degree in the same field with a minor in Music. Experience includes roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Learning Assistant in various software engineering courses, where responsibilities involved hosting office hours, leading review sessions, and providing feedback to students. Sam also serves as Chief Learning Officer and iOS Engineer for App Team Carolina, developing iOS curriculums and guiding over 90 members. Previous software engineering internships at companies such as Apple, Pinterest, and Beautycounter involved building and improving features for mobile applications. Additionally, Sam shares a passion for music as a Drumline Instructor at Northwood High School and previously at the Matt Savage Marching Percussion Camp.
