Matthew Runeare has an extensive work experience spanning from 2005 to 2022. Matthew began their career as a Senior Art Director at Questus in 2005, and then moved on to become Creative Director at Tivo in 2006. In 2010, they became Brand & Creative Director at Belcampo, and in 2016 they were appointed as Vice President of Brand & Creative at Munchery. In 2021, they joined Google as a Brand & Creative Specialist and Jamestown as Vice President of Creative, Marketing & Strategy. Finally, in 2022 they became Vice President of Brand & Creative at Apollo Neuro. Throughout their career, they have been responsible for developing, launching new products and brands, creating brand strategy, budgets, planning road maps, providing creative direction for all digital, packaging, environmental, and marketing deliverables. Matthew has also overseen Creative Direction and production of over 20 unique brand identities to support the portfolio of needs for the Google Food program, and lead all design, brand, and event concepts for Google Food and Off the Grid at Google resulting in over 20% operational savings year over year.
Matthew Runeare received their BA in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2000. From 2002 to 2004, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Identity Design and Letter Press Printing from the California College of the Arts. Finally, in 2009, they obtained a Masters in Food Culture and Communications from the University of Gastronomic Sciences - Pollenzo.
