Dimanthinie De Silva is an experienced academic and professional in the field of Information Technology, currently serving as a Lecturer in IT at Torrens University Australia since September 2024 and as a Visiting Lecturer at APIIT Sri Lanka since February 2024. Dimanthinie has held various roles at Queensland University of Technology since April 2023, including Research Assistant, Sessional Academic, and PhD Scholar, contributing to research on advanced technology adaptations in manufacturing occupations. Previous experience includes a Senior Lecturer position at Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology from March 2016 to April 2023, and a Lecturer role at Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology from April 2010 to March 2016. Early career experience includes working as a Quality Assurance/Design Analyst at Sabre Member, MAS Holding Group of Companies from 2007 to 2008. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Information Technology and a B.Sc. Special Honors in Information Technology, both earned at Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology.
