Panagiotis Bamidis is a highly experienced academic and researcher in the fields of Medical Physics, Medical Informatics, and Medical Education. Currently serving as the Director and Professor at the AUTH Medical Physics & Digital Innovation Lab since September 2021, Panagiotis also holds a professorship at the University of Aristotle and has been a Visiting Professor at the University of Leeds since 2017. With a career spanning nearly two decades at Aristoteleion Panepistimion Thessalonikis as an Assistant Professor and a previous role as a Senior Research Officer at SEERC, Panagiotis has contributed significantly to the advancement of medical education and informatics. Academic qualifications include a degree from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, completed between 1986 and 1990.
