Scott brings over 20 years of experience developing gene therapies for academic institutions and biotech companies. He most recently served as Principal Investigator and Scientific Director for Vector Development at Nationwide Childrenās Hospital in Columbus, Ohio where he was responsible for scientific operations of the clinical and pre-clinical vector cores and new technology development.
At Apic, Scott oversees the development of Adeno-associated virus (AAV) vectors from research scale to GMP production for use in Apicās pre-clinical and clinical studies as well as new technology. Scott holds a Ph.D. in Virology and Immunology from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, MA.
