Suneth Munasingha has a strong background in industrial engineering and production. From 2006 to 2016, they held various positions, including Executive Industrial Engineering at Emjay - Penguin and Sr Executive Industrial Engineering at Penguin Sportswear Pvt Ltd. In 2010, they took on the role of Asst: Manager Production support at MAS Holdings. Suneth then joined United creations LLC in 2013 as Head of industrial engineering and Production before moving to Apex Holdings Ltd in 2016. At Apex Holdings Ltd, they first served as Head of Industrial Engineering, Planning and Projects before being promoted to Head of Garments Operating System in September 2023.

Suneth Munasingha attended Kingswood College Kandy from 1991 to 2005, where they pursued a high school education with a focus on Biology, General. Later, from 2008 to 2010, Suneth Munasingha attended the Srilanka Institute Of Textile and Apparel, completing a high school degree in Apparel and Textile. Currently, Suneth Munasingha is pursuing a Master of Business Administration - MBA degree in Business Administration and Management, General at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, with enrollment starting in 2021 and expected completion in 2022.

In addition to their educational background, Suneth Munasingha has obtained several certifications. In December 2018, they earned the Lean Six Sigma Green belt certification from the Management and Strategy Institute. Subsequently, in March 2020, Suneth Munasingha acquired certifications in TPM Concept Certified (TPMC) and 5S Concept Certified (5SC) from the same institute. In May 2020, they obtained the Certified Kaizen Facilitator (CKF) certification, followed by the Project Management Essentials Certified certification in December 2020. Their most recent certification, the Six Sigma Lean Black Belt Professional (LBBP), was obtained in January 2021 from the Management & Strategy Institute.
