Cat Strumlauf has extensive experience in marketing, communications, and journalism, currently serving as Senior Director of Marketing and Communications at Apex Clean Energy since July 2016, after holding positions as Director, Manager, and Public Affairs Associate within the same organization. Prior to Apex Clean Energy, Cat worked as a Reporter and Fill-in Anchor at NBC29 WVIR-TV, where responsibilities included managing social media, reporting, and building valuable relationships. Cat also gained experience as a Business and Transportation Reporter for Medill News Service and held internships at CBS News, supporting various programs by researching and preparing stories, managing social media, and assisting with logistics. Educationally, Cat holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from William & Mary, along with study experiences at Universitat d'Alacant and The London School of Economics and Political Science.
