Omar Amer has a diverse work experience, beginning with their studies at American University in Cairo in 2009 and the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2011. Omar then worked as an Intern at GSI-Networks in 2013, followed by an Interdisciplinary Product Design role at Baxter International Inc. in the same year. In 2014, they held a Systems Engineer role at Hospira, before joining GE Digital in 2015 as a Customer Reliability Engineer. In 2018, they moved to GE as an Engineering Consultant, and then to GRUNDFOS in 2020 as a Senior Customer Success Manager. In 2021, they joined Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. as a Senior Manager, Service Offering Leader - Industrial Services, and they are currently Head of Customer Success at APERIO.
Omar Amer obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Bioengineering from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2014. In December 2019, they also obtained a Cert Prep: Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from LinkedIn.
