Brian Drake is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in systems software engineering and network engineering. Currently serving as Vice President of Systems Software Engineering at Aperio since September 2019, Brian has played a crucial role as a Senior DevOps Engineer. Prior to joining Aperio, Brian was a Senior Network Engineer at a company acquired by BlackRock in 2021. Brian's career began at the University of Phoenix as an IT Campus/Division Technician, followed by a role as Campus IT Supervisor at Apollo Group, where effective team mentorship and performance in IT operations were demonstrated. Brian also held the position of Lead Systems & Network Engineer at Acumen, LLC from September 2010 to August 2019. Academically, Brian holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
