Raul Ulate began their work experience in 2014 at Northern Lights Lodge, where they worked as a Cook's Assistant and Room service until March 2015. In 2018, they joined CELEQ, Universidad de Costa Rica as a Research Assistant, specifically working on the project "Catalytic biomass gasification: development and characterization of catalyst, kinetic modeling" until July 2018. During the same year, they also worked as a Laboratory Assistant at Universidad de Costa Rica, assisting in various chemistry courses. From January 2019 to December 2019, they continued their role as a Research Assistant at Universidad de Costa Rica. Currently, they are employed at Apeel as a Field Scientist, starting in August 2020.
Raul Ulate attended the Universidad de Costa Rica UCR from 2014 to 2020, where they obtained a Licenciatura degree in IngenierÃa quÃmica. In addition, they completed several certifications, including Cinta Blanca from Dev.F. in September 2019, and various Lean Six Sigma certifications from GreyCampus in July 2019. These certifications include Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, among others.
