Xiaoyu Zou is currently serving as President of the APD Consulting Club at UC San Diego, having previously held the position of VP of Marketing within the same organization. As a Graduate Student Researcher at UC San Diego since August 2021, Xiaoyu specializes in applying machine learning techniques to earthquake data. Xiaoyu has also gained experience as a Market Analyst at WARD Aerospace LTD, conducting market research for an innovative aerospace startup. A Remote Intern at Wallroad Digital Culture Co., Ltd., facilitated connections with U.S. online education programs and contributed to the production of educational videos. Xiaoyu's research experience includes work as a Research Assistant at Southern University of Science & Technology and Penn State University, focusing on geomagnetic modeling and plant fossils. Xiaoyu Zou holds a Bachelor's degree in Geological and Earth Sciences from Penn State University and is pursuing a PhD in Geophysics and Seismology at UC San Diego.
