Reese Williams

Director Cardiothoracic Surgery And Inpatient Care at AP Health

Reese Williams has extensive experience in the medical field, specifically in cardiothoracic surgery. They began their career as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Lexington Medical Center in 2008 and later transitioned to the role of CVICU/SICU RN. In 2014, Reese joined the UC Davis Medical Center as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in cardiothoracic surgery. After two years, they moved to Common Wealth Health, where they worked as the Cardiothoracic Surgery Lead Clinical Practitioner. In 2020, Reese joined AP Health as the Director of Cardiothoracic Surgery and Inpatient Care, where they continue to contribute their expertise in the field.

Reese Williams has a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Drexel University's College of Nursing and Health Professions, which was completed from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, Reese obtained a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on AG-ACNP from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, completed from 2013 to 2014. Reese also holds a Bachelor's degree in Nursing Science from Lander University, completed from 2006 to 2008. Additionally, Reese has an Associate's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Midlands Technical College, completed from 2006 to 2008. Lastly, Reese obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree from Midlands Technical College from 2004 to 2006. Reese has additional certifications in AG-ACNP from ANCC (obtained in September 2014) and CCRN from AACN (obtained in May 2014).
