Fiona Buckley began their work experience in 2014 as a Diagnostics and Consulting intern at Mainkind, a counseling center for children with ADHD, learning difficulties, and giftedness. In 2015, they worked as a working student in market research at m-result Market Research & Management Consulting GmbH. Fiona then interned in market research at the same company. In 2020, Fiona joined Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer as an Intern Learning and Development, where they remained until 2021. Currently, Fiona works as a Consultant at AONIC - digital. together.

Fiona Buckley completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Goethe University Frankfurt from 2011 to 2014. Fiona then pursued their Master's degree in Psychology at Technische Universität Darmstadt from 2015 to 2018. During their master's program, Fiona also had a semester abroad at Universidad de Salamanca in 2017.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Fiona obtained certifications including a Relaxation Coach Basic certification from DAGeSp Darmstädter Akademie für Gesundheit und Sport in May 2020, and a Certified Associate in Project Management certification from the Project Management Institute.
