Research And Development Engineer at AON3D

Thierry Gallizioli has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. In 2008, they were an Engineering Student Internship (Industrial Practicum) at SNC-Lavalin, where they implemented Project Wise to the mechanical department on the Fort Hills project and managed the database with extensive MS Excel macro programming. In 2009, they were a Specialists Coordinator at Edphy International. In 2010, they were a Worldwide Integration Assistant at SNC-Lavalin. In 2011, they were a Cost Analysis Intern at Bombardier Aerospace. From 2012 to 2022, they worked as a Research And Development Engineer at Bombardier, where they were the Global 7500 Loads Focal and the Fatigue Loads Focal and Project Coordinator for Technical Publications Coordinator for multiple missionized aircraft. Thierry also provided on-site and off-site flight testing support, telemetry monitoring, instrumentation monitoring and inspection, and experimental data post-processing. Additionally, they were responsible for wind tunnel test preparation and data processing in high speed and low speed tests, aeroelastic estimations and calculations, continuous improvement focal, and scrum leader for daily morning meetings and monthly improvement meetings. Thierry also developed tools in Python, VBA, VB. NET and MATLAB for automation, data visualisation and quality insurance, and dynamic and static external load calculations and analysis. Finally, they mentored interns through creating their internship plan and agenda and having frequent touch-points while supervising their work. In 2022, they began working as a Research And Development Engineer at AON3D.

Thierry Gallizioli has a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, which they obtained between 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University between 2006 and 2010.
