Dr. David T. Bizousky is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with the Center for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Indiana, Pennsylvania, and is the Medical Director for Orthopedic Regenerative Medicine at Antria. He attended Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia graduating with an MD in 1984. He did a surgical internship in trauma surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh during 1984-85. He served as Battalion Surgeon of Special Troops Battalion at Kelley Barracks in Stuttgart, Germany from 1985 to 1987. During this tour, he was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for outstanding service as the medical director for the Special Troops Battalion.
Dr. Bizousky then served as Chief Orthopedic Surgeon at the Heidelberg Army Medical Center in Heidelberg Germany from 1991 to 1994. He was assigned to the 10th MASH during the last year of this tour, which included an assignment for the medical coverage of the 50th Year Anniversary of the World War ll Normandy Beach Landing in France.
In 1994, he joined the Center for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Indiana, Pennsylvania. He has served there as the chairman of the Department of Surgery from 2006 to 2011. He is currently the President of the Medical Staff at Indiana Regional Medical Center.
