Eric Marcus is a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher in Artificial Intelligence at The Netherlands Cancer Institute and a Postdoctoral Researcher at Universiteit van Amsterdam. Previously, Eric completed a PhD in Theoretical Physics at Universiteit Utrecht, where Eric also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Marcus has a strong background in applying AI techniques to medical imaging and conducting research in theoretical high energy physics, with publications in peer-reviewed journals and experience supervising students.
